SCJRTC LogoAs one of the oldest affiliate clubs of the
Jack Russell Terrier Club of America (JRTCA), we support the JRTCA mission of preserving, protecting and working the Jack Russell Terrier. Our goal is to bring Southern California Jack Russell Terrier owners information, events and resources to enhance their ownership experience of these amazing little dogs.

Our next event will be our MEGA-FUN WEEKEND, Jan. 9-10, 2016 at Canyon RV Park in Anaheim, right off the 91 Freeway at the Gypsum Canyon exit. We will be in the Upper Amphitheater location. We’ll be having a weekend of racing, earthwork, lure coursing, agility, rally-o, brush hunt and Dog knows what else! **All breeds welcome!** If you’ve ever wanted to try one of these cool events, this is the weekend.

Click on the “Upcoming Events” tab for more information!

We have our dates for the 2016 Spring Fox Frolic! They are April 16-17. We’ll have lots of classes and games for everyone. Stay tuned for more updates.

The recent popularity boom of Jack Russells brought about by movies, TV and advertising has also caused an increasing amount of indiscriminate breeding. These two factors combined are leading to an ever-increasing number of Jack Russells coming into Rescue — usually for no other reason than their very nature: They are hunting terriers! Please do your research on this breed; they are not the dog for everyone.
